Fifty years of versatile experience in the oil and gas industry as a Petroleum/Geological Engineer, Energy Banker, Marketer and Risk Manager with demonstrated expertise in evaluating oil & gas producing properties and drilling prospects from a geologic, reservoir engineering and economic standpoint. He started Cane River Resources 15 years ago to identify and generate investment opportunities in the oil & gas industry in the Texas/Louisiana Gulf Coast and more recently in the Permian Basin.
He started his career as a summer roughneck with Rowan Drilling Company in South Louisiana followed by working as an Engineer Trainee for Northern Natural Gas in the Texas Panhandle. Upon graduation from Louisiana State University with a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering he worked for Pan American Petroleum Corp. (Amoco), Louisiana Land and Exploration Co., Continental Illinois National Bank and Capital National Bank where he served as Senior Vice President and Manager of the Energy Department.
